Robinson and Lessig

After watching videos by both Robinson on education and Lessig on copyright it is easy to see a correlation. Both men have taken a stance against the way government upholds it's duty to the people and how it upholds the law. Lessig's focus on copyright proves that the way our government is running the government is not prosperous to the American people. If we continue to treat all ideas as copyrighted nothing would be created. Robinson feels the same way but in terms of education, creativity is being destroyed. Just as out government regulates copyright too tensely they do not provide and environment for children to be creative. School requires student to take so many math and science classes but art is being lost. Robinson made the connection that although children do not use art is everyday life they do not use biology of calculus but yet there is more weight in math and science.
It is obvious that these two idea are connected through the lack of creativity in our world. The problem of creativity seems to steam from government policies that do not prompt creative thought.
