"Yes We Can" is a collage style R&B music video inspired by a speech delivered by Senator Obama following the 2008 New Hampshire primaries. It is essentially a remix because it uses Obama's voice and images in a way that was differently from the original. The song was released on February 2nd, 2008 by the Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am on Dipdive.com.The Lyrics come entirely from Obama's speech in New Hampshire, but it is said that his campaign had no involvement with the production of this video. The video is shot in black and white and features over 35 celebrities; from musicians, singers and actors, who all echos Obama's words as his voice plays in the background. I think this idea was very creative and well put together by Will.I.Am.
The making of this video has inspired several other parodies such as "No you Can't".

those videos played back to back are pretty funny. Very good use of the Internet to capture more votes. I liked the idea of singing the speech very clever.
I got to say this election has been one that has been very media friendly, in the sense that it appeals to voters through all aspects of media ranging from a blog entry or a remix video of a candidates' speech.
