Remixing Commercials

When annoying commercials become viral, people like to play with them on the Internet. Such was the case with the HeadOn commercials. The commercial's boring, repetitive, low budget look garnered much attention from Internet users. YouTube users submitted both remixes of the strange commercial series and remixes of the commercials themselves.
OxyClean is another product with notoriously annoying commercials- or a notoriously annoying spokesman. After a little remixing, it was transformed into a hip hop song. :)
Some of my favorite internet remixes involve using commercials, pieces of media that are usually annoying. By remixing them, the commercials can then become enjoyable.

HeadOn
OxyClean
Cillit Bang!
Clap On Clap Off (language)

Also,Daft Punk A Capella, which is great.

I loved the OxyClean remix because I hate the original commercial. This is another good example of remixing. Good find!

Remixing commercials is pretty neat. I've never seen or heard of this before. Companies should encourage the remixing of their advertisements; it gets their product out to a whole new group of people.

I'm pretty sure I will have the OxyClean song stuck in my head all night. Also, I never really noticed that everyone in the Clapper commercial is over the age of 50 until I watched it in sync with some Hip Hop.
